XBL-China is a subsidiary of XenoBiotic Laboratories (XBL) in China.
Since its founding in 1987, XBL has been recognized as a leading contract research laboratory, known for its outstanding contribution to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and agrochemical industries. XBL has also received wide acclaim for its innovative research specializing in drug metabolism and bioanalytical method development/validation. XBL is FDA and USDA registered, NRC-licensed for work with radioisotopes, and is US DEA and New Jersey-licensed for Schedules 1-5 controlled substances. XBL-China has been established as the subsidiary of XBL in China. Located in Nanjing, XBL-China represents a natural business and service line extension for XBL providing high quality and cost-effective bioanalytical, ADME and PK/PD services for multi-national, domestic and Japanese pharmaceutical companies. This subsidiary will also serve as a resource for domestic R&D collaboration with local and national universities and research institutes. In addition, XBL-China has a business development office located in Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Zone., responsible for business and market development.
XBL-China has full capacity to conduct radioactive isotope-labeled drug ADME studies. XBL-China provides GLP-level bioanalytical, nonclinical ADME, as well as discovery PK services to support global drug discovery and development programs. Supported by experienced XBL managers, scientists and QA, XBL-China's highly trained professionals can undertake all aspects of a study, from protocol design to final report submission. XBL-China has a variety of diverse instruments capable of fulfilling investigational requirements in many research areas, such as AB/Sciex API-4000/5000 Mass Spectrometers, PerkinElmer Tri-Carb® 3110TR Liquid Scintillation Counters and HPLC systems with radioactive monitoring. Watson-LIMS and a custom designed electronic lab notebook software "Inde-ELN" are used for lab experiments, data collection and data process, as well as sample receiving and tracking according to FDA and SFDA GLP regulations.
